The Perfectly safe and economical way to protect silver, gold, and other metals from tarnishing during shipping, and storage, without scratching. Will not harm any metals or gemstones (not even opals, emeralds, or pearls). Insert into jewelry boxes, pouches, or zip-top bags.

Our anti-tarnish tabs should provide protection for your valuables for up to 12+ months of continuous use depending on how well the container is sealed.

Each tab is 1 x 1 inch. A pack of 100 tabs is a great way to keep all your metal jewelry free from tarnish.

Our anti-tarnish tabs do NOT out-gas like charcoal paper tabs or emit any gases or coatings like other poly tabs...just saying!
Please note only physical or chemical cleaning can remove tarnish and oxidation that has already started.
Anti tarnish tabs are also anti-static, providing protection from ESD (electro static discharge) which makes them perfect for protecting electronics!

Intercept anti tarnish strips should provide protection for your valuables for up to 12+ months of continuous use depending on how well sealed the container is. It is advised that one (1) Intercept Technology™ 1" x 1" strip should be, under normal conditions, sufficient to provide protection for the inside of a container that measures 30 cubic inches (to calculate cubic inches, multiply length x width x depth).

My ALWAYS go-to anti-tarnish tabs!

I've tried anti-tarnish tabs from ALL over the world! And I came back to these tabs and will never try any others...EVER! These are THE BEST! They last a long time, they REALLY keep the tarnish and oxidation away, and they DON'T scratch jewelry like some other do (I avoid charcoal tabs!!) Can't live without them

When I figured out what other companies where sometimes putting in pkgs of sterling and semi precious I had to get some too. These are far better quality and durable and I use them liberally. And the quantity you get in each pkg is better than other companies

Keep Your Silver Clean

I have several pendants and earrings that require regular polishing. These little anti-tarnish pieces fit in the containers and help keep the silver looking great longer. Great product.

Seem to work well

I've recently begun using these tabs with my silver jewelry, enclosing them in various sized plastic bags. I haven't been doing it for too long, but, so far, they seem to be working well.

Little but mighty

These tiny discs make all the difference in the world in keeping my silver shiny. I put the disk in a plastic bag and store my silver. Sometimes there are months between shows and this is a great way to maintain my jewelry. It’s Great time saver because many times you don’t even need to clean your jewelry when you take them out of the bag and if you do it’s minimal.

Keeps Jewelry Shining

I love these little squares as they're just the right size to put in divided jewelry drawers. Especially the older silver jewelry pieces can tarnish quite quickly, but these Anti-Tarnish Tabs keep my pieces shining. Likewise for jewelry I keep in its box.

I never knew what these were

This is exactly what I’d been searching for.

The quantity was exactly the amount I’d been looking for to use in a jewelry show. They were packaged in a zip lock which made access easy. They keep all my sterling pieces tarnish free.

Great Idea for a considerate customer service

I saw this item and loved the idea. We sell silver and gold plated silver jewellery, and the issue of oxidation comes up often. I love to be able to address the issue in some way. I do not have this product long enough to know how well it works, though.

First impression

First time trying so don't know yet if they work, but they are soft, smooth, pliant and do not appear to abrade. They are the perfect size to enclose in packaged earrings. I cut them in quarters to enclose in small components storage. I wish the printed version was offered, and in this quantity - that would be a great advertisement that you care about your customers' satisfaction.

Q: Are these paper or cloth? Does it matte which side comes in contact with the jewelry? Can they be used with bronze as well as silver?

The material is closer to a paper, but it has the feel of nylon.

The tab does not need to touch the jewelry to work as intended. Each tab will absorb tarnish-causing gases in the air. As long as the tab is placed in a sealed container, or bag, the tab will function as intended. They will work on all precious metals and other keepsake items that are susceptible to tarnish, including bronze.

A: They are a woven cloth like material and do not require actual contact with the jewelry. If they are enclosed with the jewelry in a poly bag or sealed container they will work great on silver bronze, brass and more.

Q: Do they lose effectiveness in about 12 months only when put in with silver or another metal? Or does the unused supply lose effectiveness in that time period? (I'm trying to figure out how many to buy and how fast I'll have to use them.) Thanks!

A: When using them with metals they will last for 12+ months. If the unused are kept sealed in their original packaging or other sealed container, they will keep for up to 5 years.

Q: If I am storing 75+ pieces, I am thinking My best financial move would be to put them in your little baggies with one of you anti tarnish strips. Comments please. Would that work?

A: Yes, that will work. We use the same process on many of our products to prevent tarnishing. Keep in mind, over time there could still be some tarnishing, but the anti tarnish tabs slow the process tremendously. Thanks
