I've been looking for a narrow, washable, sturdy cord to use as ties for COVID-19 face masks, and this is by far the best I've found so far. It goes through machine washing and drying beautifully, ties securely due to the suede texture, and is so very easy for my sewing machine to negotiate. We have made more than 120 masks so far, for shelter residents, food bank volunteers, and migrant farm workers, among others. Thank you so very much -- this product is great!
